Dollar General Youth Literacy Grants
Deadline: May 22
Youth Literacy Grants provide funding to schools, public libraries, and nonprofit organizations to help students who are below grade level or experiencing difficulty reading. Grant funding is provided to assist in the following areas: implementing new or expanding existing literacy programs; purchasing new technology or equipment to support literacy initiatives; and purchasing books, materials or software for literacy programs. - Tribal Health Public Support Fellowship
Qualifications:
· A Doctoral degree in the social or health sciences received within the last five years. A candidate with a master degree in the social or health sciences received within the last five years will be considered.
· Beneficial, but not required skills: Public health science and evaluation skills, including experience developing and testing data collection instruments in cross-cultural settings, managing and merging multiple datasets, and conducting quantitative and qualitative data analyses.
o Experience presenting data analysis results, reporting and summarizing evaluation findings in plain language documents and reports to diverse stakeholder audiences.
