Native Health Initiative 2015 Summer Health  Justice Internships The Native Health Initiative (NHI) is a partnership to address health inequities through loving service. We currently have a thriving partnership of 350+ entities in New Mexico and Arizona. This a unique internship program in many respects.  It is run by tribes and health professions students. The health projects are created and organized by tribal communities. The internship is for 5 weeks; tentative dates are June – July, 2015. The deadline is March 1, 2015.  Washington Internships for Native Students (WINS) Summer Program The Washington Internships for Native Students (WINS) offers students of American Indian, Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian (AI/AN/NH) nations the opportunity to build leadership and advocacy skills, while living, studying and interning in Washington, DC. Developed in response to the White House Initiative on American Indians and Alaska Natives, this enriching program offers qualified students full scholarships funded by American University and sponsoring organizations.
