Cherokee Language Classes in Oklahoma

Cherokee Language Classes Set by Rogers County Cherokee Association   Alice Wilder, Cherokee language instructor, will teach a class in the Claremore area starting in March. Classes will begin March 1 and continue on Monday and Thursday nights for five weeks, ending April 1. Rogers County Cherokee Association will host classes. Instructions will be 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the RCCA Building, 15488 E. 523 Road, off Highway 88, south of Claremore, and east of Justus-Tiawah Elementary South Campus. All ages are welcome. Sent on Behalf of Jeff Vance, Director of Employment Programs 2015 Summer Youth Employment Program Career Services will begin this year’s application process during the following period, February 9th through April 17th. Participants must be 16 to 21 years of age (at time of application) and a member of a federally recognized tribe. Applicants must reside within the Cherokee Nation tribal jurisdiction.
