Nominate or Recommend a High School Student for the Gates Millennium Scholarship
The Nominator must be an educator; teacher, counselor, principal, etc., who can speak specifically to the student’s curriculum and academic performance.
The Recommender can be someone in any number of roles; a teacher, counselor, coach, spiritual leader, employer, tribal leader, etc. and can speak to the nominee’s community involvement and leadership.
Nominees will need both a Nominator and a Recommender to complete their application. Your insight on this nominee can make an enormous difference in evaluating their candidacy for the Gates Millennium Scholarship Program. The evaluation process goes into much greater detail regarding nominees than simply their grades and activities. Your insights are invaluable in bringing the nominee to life!
